Dig In New York Reveals Revolutionary War Relics!

Posted by on August 9, 2013

In downtown Manhattan, thousands of revolutionary war artifacts have been unearthed in the middle of recent utility digs to install new piping. Some of the finds include: a pair of children’s shoes, an 18th century bone toothbrush with animal hair bristles and centuries old wine along with champagne bottles. Utility workers discovered 100 liquor bottles last week alone! Archaeologist Lisa Loorya said, “You never know what you’ll find underneath your feet in this city. Finding the pieces that were actually used by the people in the past makes New York City’s history real.”┬áThe dig is part of a $40 million project that is expected to end this December.
